HUMAI
An attempt to decode the intersection of
Design and A.I

HUMAI is an exploratory and experimental project that tries to decode how Artificial Intelligence, more specifically Generative AI, would intersect and influence design in the future.

This ongoing project tries to speculate plausible design futures and how we can be better equipped for this new age of exponential technological advancement.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SPECULATIVE DESIGN DESIGN FUTURES CRITICAL DESIGN DESIGN THINKING SYSTEM THINKING  STRATEGIC THINKING

A comparison between different GenAI tools
The project started as a genuine curiosity of a 20-year-old visual communication designer from India to understand the hype about AI. Over the span of 4 months, I tried to learn everything I could about Artificial Intelligence beyond the online opinions and dystopian films through research papers, magazine articles, Global AI Forums, and Interviews with leading experts, workshops, and events.

Once I educated myself about the fundamentals and the workings of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI, I began to look at projects that looked into the intersection of Design and AI, where I gained significant insights on developing my project further. After stakeholder mapping and understanding the more extensive system, I developed my strategy to intervene in the current system.

The proposed strategy is divided into two sections, broadly delving into awareness and speculation, and is currently being developed and is in progress.
